Cross-border transfer of personal information: Standard document, Agreement for cross-border transfer of personal information, an agreement designed to ensure that personal information is adequately safeguarded in accordance with Information Privacy Principle 12 (IPP 12) of the Privacy Act 2020 when being disclosed by a New Zealand agency to a foreign person or entity. The agreement is based on the guidance and model contract clauses published on the Office of the Privacy Commissioner's (OPC) website.
Information Privacy Principle 12: Checklist, Information Privacy Principle 12 flowchart, a flowchart to help work out whether IPP 12 applies to the disclosure of personal information by a New Zealand agency to a foreign person or entity. The flowchart is based on a decision tree published by the OPC.
